Course Description

This is a fun workshop for all. We will be using all kinds of fun materials and everyone can enjoy this workshop. You don't have to be an experience artist or crafter. I will show you how to complete a lovely Shade Hanger in 2 different ways. You can use materials you have on hand and may only have to purchase a few simple items. This is a very spontaneous and creative journey with me using different materials and just having fun. Every piece is up to you and your imagination. You can make them for gifts, for your own pleasure, use them for artistic challenges, sell your pieces (I have sold quite a few in years past). They can be so handy to have around for an unexpected gift too. They are also great to make for holiday decorations, birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, etc. What every you can think of you can make one for, everyone will love them. I just love all of mine and it's a pleasure to see them hanging in friends and families homes.

Hi everyone! I am a Mixed Media Artist living in Daytona Beach, FL. The weather here is great and I enjoy the sunshine and all the lovely flowers and beautiful Palm Trees that grow here. Most of my inspiration comes from my family, friends, places I visit and everything all around me. Helping others through their art journey has been something I have found is very rewarding. My life has always been creative, but I may not always had the time to do as much as I would have liked. We all get side tracked by many things in life that may keep us away from our artist journey. I feel grateful that I have been able to return to my true passion after many years of pursuing other careers and raising a wonderful family. The most wonderful thing about Mixed Media Art is; there are no boundaries, and that most of all is what I love about it. All I would like now is to help other artists find their creative souls and start their journey into mixed media art. Share the love...it makes us all happy...xo

So it takes a lot for an artist to catch my attention and fill my head with inspiration and Rita Marie has done all of this for me i feel very close to her as if she is sitting right next to me and guiding me and cheering me on to fly away with my imagination and all my feelings and she guides out all my creative thoughts and spirit.
